LG’s latest Android Wear smartwatch, the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE (what a mouthful) has begun its global rollout. Customers interested in picking up the wearable can do so through either AT&T or Verizon.
The LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE is the first Android Wear device to feature cellular connectivity. This means wearers can use it independently of a phone and can still take calls, manage messages, and more. As a reminder, Android Wear watches can now be paired with either Android (4.4+) or iOS (7.0+) phones.

Key features in the Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE include a circular 1.38-inch 480×480 pixel display and 4GB storage. Powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor with 768MB RAM, it also packs a 570mAh battery. And, thanks to the IP67 rating, the wearable is resistant to dust and water.
AT&T offers the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE for $200 with a two-year service agreement or $300 outright. Verizon, is much more costly at $500 full retail or $450 with a contract.
