The O2 Lab develops a Chromecast remote on Android Wear

The new Google Chromecast dongle is pictured on an electronic screen as it is announced during a Google event at Dogpatch Studio in San Francisco

The European mobile carrier, O2, have created a nice new feature for Android Wear and the Sony SmartWatch. The folks from the O2 Lab have recently created a remote that can control your Chromecast.

They began building the app through Android Wear, then ported over to a Sony watch to test it on a real device. The app is in the very early stages of development, but the developers are still able to play, pause, and control the volume of a video playing on their Chromecast.
