ZTE announces the Grand Band, a FuelBand competitor

Shortly after the announcement of Xiaomi’s impressive MiBand, ZTE is set to launch the Grand Band; a device that very closely resembles Nike’s FuelBand. The device bears the same dot matrix clock face and is 14 mm thick. The Grand Band comes packed with common features like a pedometer with distance and calorie counter, sleep monitor and smart alarm capabilities.

The smart band is compatible with¬†phones running Android 4.3 and up and has Bluetooth 4.0. The band will launch next month in China at a “reasonable and affordable price” at around 130-160 US dollars, which is significantly more expensive than the MiBand. We look forward to trying both of these devices in the future.
