ZTE announces the Grand Band, a FuelBand competitor
Shortly after the announcement of Xiaomi’s impressive MiBand, ZTE is set to launch the Grand Band; a device that very closely resembles Nike’s FuelBand. The device bears the same dot matrix clock face and is 14 mm thick. The Grand Band comes packed with common features like a pedometer with distance and calorie counter, sleep monitor and smart alarm capabilities.
The smart band is compatible with phones running Android 4.3 and up and has Bluetooth 4.0. The band will launch next month in China at a “reasonable and affordable price” at around 130-160 US dollars, which is significantly more expensive than the MiBand. We look forward to trying both of these devices in the future.
